Pang Yongjie Born on June 13th 1968, in the Shandong province, PANG YONGJIE studied oil painting at the Shandong Normal University until 1990, followed by the Central Academy of Fine Arts Exhibition, where he received the excellence Prize in 1995, and the Beijing International Exhibition. Following he held a few other successful exhibitions, in Beijing as well as in Shanghai.

PANG YONGJIE's painting can be defined into expressions of the genre, only he has a wider insight. His imagery shares something in common with Chinese play painting and some with beauty painting, enhancing the subject and style with an amazing palette of colours. In all these attempts, he means to represent and transform objects with ethnic genre into a poetic picture full of literature taste. |
